Date: Started: 9/2/14 Completed: 10/12/2014

Full Name: Seth [Last Name Withheld]
Pronunciation: seth
Nickname/Alias: Sean, Sam, Samantha, Glossy, Seven, Martin, and several others gained through spy/assassin work.
Meaning: Anointed, Compensation
Origin: He originated from another character I created years ago whose name also started with an s. Nothing special, he's kind of just a reboot.
Title: None
Pet Name: 'Rent' (An ingenious nickname by Spike)
ID Number: #0817629
Signature: Overtly curly, but can be changed based on the circumstances.

Gender: Male
Gender Role: Depends on the situation...
Orientation: Homosexual
Real Age: 25
Birthday: October 7th
Deathday: N/A
Birthplace: A nonspecific area in North America
Astrological Sign: Libra
Zodiac Sign: Dragon

Immediate Family: Mother and Father (mostly)
Distant Family: Other family members.
Parenting: They hardly even paid attention to him. Father was busy working, Mother was distant because of the father. His parents were basically the neighbors, and then he had to act as the parent himself.
Upbringing: With Spike and even after him, Seth learned to take care of himself any way he could, regardless of what others thought about it.
Infancy [0-2]: Seth's parents were relatively young, having him out of wedlock and in the middle of the prime time of their lives. He could be left alone when even the slightest thing came about, and it was usually worried neighbors that came to check up on him when he was screaming his head off in the middle of the night. At two years old, he was taking care of both himself and his infant brother.
Childhood [3-12]: As Seth grows older, his parents are forced to get real jobs in order to support themselves. His father's business degree works to gain him a dreary office job, which makes him emotionally unavailable when he arrives home every day. His mother takes odd jobs that usually keep her gone for hours at a time. Their living situation improves somewhat, but Seth is still the main caretaker for his brother. The two form an unbreakable bond.
Adolescence [13-17]:  Seth's family is gone, his home burnt to ashes. He runs away and dissociates himself from the event completely, eventually finding Spike, who offers to give him shelter seemingly out of the goodness of his heart. At 14, Spike introduces Seth into prostitution. Seth eventually gets used to the idea, seeing it as an easy way to earn money without working too hard. For a while, he is the main source of income for he and Spike (and Spike eventually begins to jokingly call him Rent). Spike makes an attempt on Seth's life after being ordered to kill him by an association he'd never told Seth of. Seth survives the attack, and meets Charles while in the hospital. With all of his money gone, Seth accepts Charles' offer to help him pay off what he owes, and agrees to join his association. For about a year, he is kept in near-isolation and trained to be an assassin. He finds that detaching himself from reality makes it easier to handle. At 16, Seth begins working with James, another young man in the association.
Adulthood [18+]: Seth and James become an efficient team, taking on missions of varying difficulty. His morality all but leaves him, and parts of his memory seem to fade. He develops multiple personalities that act without his knowledge. Eventually, he has to choose between the only two things that have any security to him; James, or the Association.
Coming of Age: After Spike turned on him, he realized that he couldn't be a kid forever. He figured the entire world was dangerous and if he wanted friends or protection he would only have himself.
Evolution: He's given up almost completely on caring for other people, instead putting himself first.

Distinguishing Features: Nothiiiinnnnngggggg

Health: More physically fit than most. Not a great metabolism, but keeps up with his exercise enough to stay in shape. Hit with the occasional Migraine.
Energy: He can keep himself up as long as he needs to for a mission, but will drop at the sight of a bed in that case.
Memory: Remembers names and numbers needed for missions. Keeps them stored for as long as he needs to, and once they aren't important anymore he'll forget on the spot.

Style: Modern? He wears a lot of things. Usually just normal-people clothing so that he doesn't stick out too much on missions. Around-the-house wear consists of sweatpants and shorts.
Mode of Dress: Nothing special. When his hair gets really long he likes to tuck it into collars or scarves rather than keeping it out.
Grooming: Moderate.
Posture: Suggestive, almost like a challenge.
Gait: Normal, controlled strides.
Coordination: Fit enough to chase someone down more than a few blocks, coordinated enough to assemble a high-powered rifle without paying much attention.
Habits and Mannerisms: He'll reach behind his back to mess with the ends of his hair when he's bored or thinking. (when it gets long enough, of course)
Scent: Nothing in particular.

Mood: Bored
Attitude: He isn't much of a "people person"
Stability: He can seem fine at a glance, but the moment you say something he'll snap at you and you'll realize that he's been silently seething.
Expressiveness: His emotions are hidden in sort of a practiced way.
When Happy: Smiling and grinning and teasing you like nothing can stop him.
When Depressed: Doesn't like to talk about it, pretty much shuts himself down and performs basic tasks on autorun. You won't get any explanation from him, even if you can get him to speak.
When Angry: A controlled type of anger that he uses to make himself seem in control of the situation. Sometimes he unconsciously grabs for something he can use as a weapon or just throw somewhere.

Current Residence: [Information Withheld]
Community: It's a normal city area with its fair share of freaks and normals. A bit less crime than you'd expect.
Family: Deceased.

Enemies: Trevor, and anyone who gets in his way when it comes to something he really wants.
Bosses: Charles, the Association.
Followers: N/A
Heroes: N/A
Rivals: Trevor
Relates to: No one, really.
Pets/Familiars: He and James eventually find a small Boston Terrier mix that they name "Bullet Wound" because of the shape of one of the markings on his fur.

Wardrobe: Anything from formal to casual wear. A wide array of different outfits that don't particularly make him stand out from a crowd. Tons of hats and scarves (it's much easier to hide your identity in those).
Equipment: Piano wire, survival bracelet, knives, guns, ammo.
Accessories: A single pair of lens-less glasses.
Trinkets: None
Funds: Probably carries around about a hundred everywhere he goes (Cover money, can be used to buy hats or food to prove innocence in a situation or make him seem busy w/o looking suspicious). In the bank he probably has a pretty good amount, but he never checks personally because he's sure it's more than enough (after getting paid for each hit).
Home: No yard, five rooms: kitchen, dining room, guest room, watercloset, Master Bedroom (w/ full bathroom attached). Mostly a white/cream coloured carpet, dark, mellow-cloured furniture. No hardwood floors (he's tired of hurting himself on those)
Neighborhood: Nothing special.
Transportation: Walking, Taxi.
License Plate Number: N/A
Collections: N/A
Most valuable possession: Cell Phone
Prized Possession: His hair

Lovers: James
Marital Status: Dating (Kind of, it's complicated with James)
Sex Life: The polar opposite of the Virgin Mary. Was a sex worker for about a year and a half. Now he just does it without thinking, really, because it only matters to him when it's James.
Type: Mania (Eros as a close second)
Turn-Ons: Strength and endurance, physically fit, mentally aware.
Turn Offs: Idiots, playboys, anyone who can't take care of themselves.
Position: Submissive
Plays: Bondage, breathplay, dominance.
Fetishes: Back-Fetish (like, a well-toned back is all he really needs)
Virginity: He's done it a lot. But, counting only when it actually meant something, about seven times.
Element: Water

Occupation: Hired Hitman
Work Ethnic: He's pretty nonchalant about what he does. Not much of a "hard-worker", but he'll do what he has to to get the job done. (so long as it remains within the parameters he was given before hand)
Rank: In relation to hitmen, he's generally requested on quite a bit in the Association.
Income: Makes money based on the hit. Simple things, like just sneaking up on someone and offing them after work, usually pays anywhere from $50,000 to $100,000. A yearly estimate wouldn't properly encompass his income.
Wealth Status: Upper
Experience: He was basically a babysitter for his brother, then he was a sex worker, and now he's a hitman.
Organizations/Affiliations: The Association

IQ: 90-99
Education: He dropped out of school at around 13, so his formal education ended there. Everything else was taught in somewhat of a pseudo-school run by the Association
School:
It was mostly for lower-class students, overused books, a rusty, somewhat dangerous playground, and sub-par lunch that just barely met the nutrition requirements.
Grade:
Cs and Ds
Special Education:
None
Social Stereotype:
Punk
Degrees:
Never thought much about a degree, but always sort of figured he would go for a Masters.
Intelligence:
Intrapersonal
Extracurricular Activities:
Nope

Religion:
Atheist
Morals:
Basically none
Crime Record:
Nothing he's ever been caught for, but: Arson, Manslaughter, Prostitution, Murder, and the like.
Motivation:
Staying alive, having fun.
Priorities:
James, Himself, The Association.
Philosophy:
You can look out for yourself, and you can look out for the things you want. Everything else shouldn't even have a place in your mind. Thinking of other things only ends up being a distraction.
Political Party:
He doesn't really care.
Etiquette:
Doesn't really know how to treat people or act in social situations unless he's undercover. He'll make crude jokes and insult someone to their face, whether he knows them or not. The only people that really have his respect are James (sometimes, anyway) and Charles.
Culture:
N/A
Influences:
Charles, James. Charles mostly changes him by introducing real fear into his system. He doesn't want to admit it, but a part of him is inherently loyal to and afraid of Charles. James just brings out parts of himself he never wants to see. Through James he ends up feeling more than he thinks necessary, and he has to face the fact that he can still feel things like other people sometimes.
Relates to:
James, somewhat.
Traditions:
Celebrates Christmas (purely for the gifts), Thanksgiving (purely for the food), and Easter (just so he can paint a bunch of eggs and buy bags of candy from the store). Doesn't really believe in the morals behind each holiday.
Superstitions: None

Main Goal:
Trying to find out where exactly his loyalty should lay.
Minor Goals/Ambitions:
Keeping things together in general (especially himself)
Career:
World Famous Super Spy (just because he can).
Desires:
Power, security.
Wishlist:
A knife with a rainbow blade, an anti-tank rifle.
Accomplishments: Not quite
Greatest Achievement:
His first kill. (He felt nervous, borderline nauseous at the time, but he realizes now that it opened up everything he is now, and he wouldn't change it for the world.)
Biggest Failure:
Trusting in others.
Secrets: [Spoilers]:
He murdered his entire family and then burned down their home. He doesn't know 100% why he did it, but he felt that his life was miserable and maybe they didn't deserve to continue on.
Regrets: There was a long time where he wished he hadn't killed his brother. Sometimes the feeling hits him even today, and he has to take a moment to get over it. He also wishes he hadn't trusted Spike so easily.
Worries: Regressing, losing himself.
Best Dream:  He could fly off to a magical land where no one gives a fuck about anything ever.
Worst Nightmare: Seth truly believes he would lose it if anything happened to James.
Best Memories: Reading to his little brother when they were younger. Staying up late with his brother reading comics he stole from the library.
Worst Memories: Being betrayed by Spike.

Hobbies/Interests: Target practice, teasing James.
Skills/Talents: He's an excellent marksman, and good at manipulating others (I guess that's a skill/talent)
Likes: James, guns, working.
Dislikes: Obligations, clingy people, most children.
Sense of Humor: Crude
Pet Peeves: Small insects (especially if they fly), People laughing or speaking loudly in groups when in a public forum, People who lie just to be nice.
Superstitions/Beliefs: None
Dreams/Nightmares: Depends on the day. Usually it's just a bunch of nonsense that he doesn't remember in the morning (James can tell him sometimes, though, because he occasionally talks in his sleep). Whatever he dreams about, it's sure to contain assassinations. Nightmares are either incredibly detailed (everything around him falling to shit) or extremely abstract (something like sitting in a dark room with a single window that leads nowhere but shows flashing lights in the dark).
Quirks: He's like a kid in that he gets most curious at night when you really want to sleep. At around 12AM any questions he's wanted to ask just flood into his brain nonstop.
Savvy: Human reactions. Like, what a person will do if someone next to them is shot down (mostly based on what the person had been doing up until then.) Human emotions and habits.
Can't understand: People who really want to have kids.
Closet Hobby: Watching old-school cartoons.
Guilty Pleasure: He likes to wait for the post-Easter and Halloween sales and literally fill a shopping cart with baked goods and bags of candy before eating all of it within a week. Usually just ends up with him being sick and miserable and wracked with migraines.

Strengths: Ability to read and decode people.
Flaws: Liar, cheater, borderline sociopathic (if not a full-on sociopath).
Perception: You stand on your own, extra pillars make you weak.
Conflicts: He wants to just fill his life with James, but also keep working as a hitman. He knows part of himself will always be shared with the Association and Charles.
Instincts: Protects himself first and foremost.
Lures: Power, security
Soft Spot: Dogs.
Cruel Streak: If anything happens to James, or if things don't go his way after he'd planned it out, he usually gets really out of hand.

I wanna get this over with, let you off the hook and go upstairs to enjoy a nice dinner with my partner-- the guy prides his cooking skills like he's a goddamn chef," Seth pauses to chuckle a bit, thinking of James, no matter how stone-faced, being incredibly proud of whatever dish he could cook up. Run away from everything I've given you, everything you've ever had? Remember, first, that every part of you belongs to me. Me, and this Association. We are the ones who shaped you into this. No one was born to kill, but we can be trained to embrace that baser instinct. I'm the one that gave you that gift to embrace. Think of my gift before you try to abandon everything."
Tropes: Trained assassin, stoic hitman, cold-hearted killer.
